"Mild" caving is a tour of just one cave. It's a morning trip of one cave, finishing with lunch. Duration is normally from 8.30 to approximately 12.30 pm. Winter start is 9.00 (June, July, August). If you want to stay for a second cave in the afternoon, you should book a Wild Tour.
This tour is suitable for people 14 years and over. Talk to the operator if you think your child <14 should be considered for the trip or if it's a family group of four or more, book a half day Family Friendly Tour, discounted at $145 p.p. You can also book a half day trip as a Photography Trip or Photography Workshop to learn cave specific camera techniques.
A tour of one cave may be laid back and focussed on glow-worms and environmental and sight-seeing aspects in caves of the World Heritage Area or focussed on fun caving challenges in a varied and scenic maze cave. Once you've gained some experience and skills, if returning for a second half day, the tour may involve a more remote and/or difficult cave. Or just book a full day "Wild caving" trip to see two caves in the one day. Contact the operator regarding Access Tourism or group charters such as Incentives and Education groups. Inquire to the operator if Photography and Family tours are displayed but Mild Tour is not.
